Method
- Clean the mushrooms with a damp paper towel.
- Preheat the oven to 200° C
- Using the 2 forks, pull apart the mushroom until you have shredded them to your liking.
- Once the mushrooms are shredded, place them in a mixing bowl and add the garlic, Smoked Paprika, Salt, and ½ of the Olive Oil. Mix until everything is evenly coated.
- Transfer all the mushrooms to a sheet pan lined with Parchment paper. Spread the mixture evenly over the pan so that the Mushrooms cook evenly.
- Bake the Mushrooms for 18 Minutes
- Once the Mushrooms have baked transfer them to the saute pan. Add the remaining Olive Oil and the BBQ Sauce. Saute the mixture for about 5 minutes and serve hot.
Notes
- I use store-bought BBQ sauce for this recipe, but you could absolutely make your own. Any kind will do, it is totally up to your taste preference.
- This recipe can be easily doubled, I would just add another 5 minutes to the baking time and keep a close watch to ensure the mushrooms don't burn.
